We are a Part 137 certified Agricultural Aerial Services Provider, with a staff of ± 10, who work across a geographical region of over 10,000 km2.
Our overall safety goal is to provide helicopter operations of outstanding workmanship & excellent service, using industry best practice and focused on the highest safety standards, so we have no accidents or serious injuries occur in an industry with well recognised risks.
We will manage this through a Safety Management System and Hazards & Risk Register which have the flexibility to cover the multiple scenarios and locations in which our staff may find themselves, and also the accessibility and effectiveness to work alongside the safety systems of our clients and service providers,
For this reason, we have taken the decision to keep our SMS cloud-based as much as possible.
Through our SMS, I have made the commitment to my staff that we will identify all existing and new hazards and unsafe conditions, take all practicable steps to eliminate or mitigate any exposure to workplace or site hazards, and through a robust review process and the use of our Just and Fair Workplace plan ensure that staff will always have the ability to raise their voice about any safety related issue, and know that they will be heard.
We require compliance with all legislated requirements and internal procedures relative to our operational tasks, remain committed to ensuring our staff all hold Certified Handler or Pilot Chemical Ratings as standard for their positions, and confirm that staff are encouraged to access further operational and SMS related learning as opportunities arise.
